Minty Fresh House Cleaning and Giveaway!!!

I love house cleaning, this is no lie, I swear! I would love to have the time to do housework, lol, but when I do have time, I enjoy cleaning, dusting, scrubbing, all of it. I especially love the smell of a clean house, the fresh scent of spring air, open windows, and house cleaning products that don't have chemical smells, and overpowering scents that smell like a hospital. Especially with children and pets in the house!
I usually shoot for all natural cleaning products, and I do use the antibacterial cleaning wipes in the kitchen and bathroom. But other then that, I would rather just use basic cleaners with pure scents. My favorite scents are fruity scents, like lemon, minty scents and clean scents. They seem to be longer lasting and with kids and pets, this is needed, big time!
I was very curious in this quick and simple cleaning agent, that I personally never thought of myself. This is a product that is always around and always available, and very reasonable in price, and I never even attempted to use them...
Denture tablets!!
Effervescent Denture Cleanser Tablets are found at any grocery store, drug store, and discount stores. These are super cheap, usually just a few cents for each tablet, so when you compare them to the cost of other household cleaners, with or without coupons, you can certainly save quite a bit by replacing some cleansers with these tablets!
There are tons of uses, anything from bath toys, (this is 1 of my favorites!), make up brushes, (another favorite!), coffee pots, porcelain sinks, glass stove tops, enamel, hair brushes, pencil holders, toys, the list is virtually endless.
Caution: If you Google search the many uses of Effervescent Denture Cleanser Tablets, you will probably come across many people who swear they clean jewelry, however, this is something you may not want to try. The tablets could actually weaken metal and dull gemstones, so it is probably best to stay safe and continue using jewelry cleaners instead.
These are also very simple to use. I used a cup, filled it with hot water, and grabbed a sponge and dripped the fizzy, minty cleaner directly on our flat, glass stove top.
When we bought our house, this was the stove that was here, and I never had a flat top stove so I was excited to be able to cook and not ever have anything boiling over and landing in the bottom of the burners anymore. I wasn't thinking about the burning on top, and when I looked closer at the stove top, realized it was so caked on already, I never thought we would get it clean. Not to mention, all of the extra burnt food and liquid I would end up getting all over the burners as well.
I tested these tablets out on this burner first...
With 5 minutes of soaking and then a small amount of scrubbing...
Most of what was on the actual burner, was easily removed. Some of what was built up along the sides was also easily removed. Layer by layer, it has been coming off, and there are even sections where there isn't anything left. (After wiping with a clean dry cloth)
I like the fact that this didn't take a lot of scrubbing to see a difference! This is also from at least 8 years that we have been here, who knows how long this has been built up before we arrived!
There are no oily residues, no stickiness, and a fresh, minty scent that will have you rummaging through your little ones bins and bath toys, just so you can soak it all in hot or warm water and these amazing, simple, fizzy little miracle tablets!
Here are a few suggestions for your house cleaning with denture tablets:
Coffeemakers – fill the reservoir with water, add a few tabs, soak for a while or overnight and rinse well. Don't run through heated cycle. Rinse well and run a clear water cycle.
Cruets / Decanters   – break tabs into small pieces to fit inside hard-to-clean small-necked glass or ceramics. Let soak for a couple hours or overnight. Shake occasionally and rinse well.
Kids Bath toys – 3-10 tabs in a pail of hot water with toys. Soak for 30-60 mins and rinse well!
Enamel / Glass / Stainless cookware – soak in water with 3-10 tablets to remove burnt-on spots and crusty stuff. Scrub lightly if necessary.
Porcelain sinks – Add 4-10 tablets to standing hot water in sink and soak 30-60 mins (or overnight) to remove tough stains. Scub lightly if necessary. Leaves sparkling.
Little stuff – ideal for make-up brushes (swish & soak just the bristles) mani-pedi tools, toothbrush holders hair clips, hair brushes & combs, pen/pencil holders, cosmetic trays etc.

Collageit FREE

I recently started getting better at taking pictures and figuring out how to edit and all of the cool stuff all these mom bloggers do, and I also have a couple cool scrapbook programs that I love! I like collages a lot, and always thought they were the most fun to make since you can make them any way you choose, and they are all so unique and your very own:)
I also started to become a fan of Pearl Mountain Technologies, especially since they have offers from time to time for free downloads!
You can download Collageit for free, here!
If you do love it, you can purchase, Collageit Pro, for under $20, which is a super sweet price compared to other downloads I have seen out there. But the free download is very cool and has tons of options!
If you aren't a big collage fan, you can also use Collageit for posters, scrapbooks, and albums!
Collageit is very simple and easy to use, a big plus for me! But at the same time, you can have professional looking pictures and collages, and it is quick to put together, no need for manual adjustments, just a few clicks.
It is also very powerful and you get all of this, free, with your download!
WYSIWYG—Real-time preview with high speed
Great capacity can accommodate a handful of photos up to 200.
Diverse types of photo collage can be created and A1 size or even larger size is available.
There are a lot of collage layouts and templates you can choose from, or you can even create picture collage on Mac OS X and Windows with a blank one.
Collageit also offers cool frames for your pictures! I love this product because it is easy to use, and I can actually make a collage in no time, and save to my computer. The little ones even made a few and Aaron did pretty good with understanding all of the terms and variable perimeters, photo space, margin, count, I was impressed!
You can also make your new creation your wallpaper, and share on Flickr and Facebook instantly, and you can email to family and friends.
I would love to see your creations! Please feel free to share your links to your posts here in the comments, or just let us know what you thought of the free download.

Save Money on Prescription Medicine

This is definitely something my family needs, and uses. I have so many of these prescription discount cards, and even with or without insurance, I can find savings that are sometimes even more valuable then what my insurance pays.
There are 6 of us in our family, 3 of which take regular monthly prescriptions. I personally have several per month, because of RSD, and my husband has heart medicine, and our 9 year old takes Prevacid.
I normally shop at CVS, and that's typically my pharmacy of choice. So for 1 month, we used this new discount card at CVS, and saved a bit more then with the 3 cards CVS has on file for us already.
I get 4 prescriptions filled each month for myself, they run from $55 to $318, full price. I usually pay between $27 and $98 for my medicines, and it is still to much for me, even with the discounts I already received from other cards.
My most expensive medicine, Gabapentin, is $98 per month at CVS with this my best discount card. I used this new card this month, and my total was $64!
I also get 3 medicines for chronic pain, moderate to severe, and also for RLS.
My Tramadols are usually around $50, this new card dropped this down to $40. Not a ton of savings, but still savings! I was more then pleased with that, $10 is $10!
The other medicines were each about $15 MORE in savings then the other cards I have been using, so an average of $74 a month will be saved with this card on just my medicine alone.
My husband takes, Acebutolol, and this costs us around $25 per month with our cards, and this month, this dropped to $11!! So, that is an average savings of $88 a month!! Yay!!
Of course there may be some differences in prices and discounts at other pharmacies, and different medicines, you could always call around, and shop around and see where the best deals are! While you may not be able to use this to reduce co pays, there may be times when this is cheaper then what your insurance pays, and even if it is $5, it is still $5, which is $60 per year. (I have a habit of figuring this out on a yearly total when trying to figure out savings)
The best part of this discount card, is, it's FREE!! You can download your card here, The Medication Discount Card LLC.
I would love to hear what you saved!! Please let me know where you used it and if it saved you more then other discount cards!! Printable Halloween Coloring Pages and Games

I am always looking for worksheets and coloring pages and games for the little ones, and of course they love doing coloring pages and our fridge is cluttered with so many wonderful and colorful pictures! I try my best to keep it on the low side, but they make sure to fill it right back up again, so I try to at least keep it current with the holidays and seasons.
I found this cool set of Halloween printables, 40 in all, and of course you only have to buy them once. After that, they are yours forever, and you can print as often as you wish!  You can use these for school, games at home, Halloween parties, home school activities, fun things to do with your little ones, and you can share with family and friends.
You can grab this set of 40 Halloween printables for $19.95. Considering you can just save and re print as you wish, this isn't a bad price at all.
My little ones love these, and they are good for all ages. Deegan is 2, Genevive is 5 and Aaron is 9 and they all had their favorites and coloring and crafts are an almost daily event here at our house! These are easy enough to print out and just
stack on the kitchen table with a bucket of crayons and colored pencils, while I try and get dinner ready or get dishes or laundry done:)
They are also offering free printables, along with a $5 voucher!! You can use the $5 for the purchase of the complete set which would make the set just $14.95!
With the free set you will get:
  • Witch on broomstick and cat with treat bag
  • Squash centerpiece
  • Frankenstein's Surprise!
  • Kid dragging treat bag with hole in it and dog eating the leavings
  • Kids in costume with overflowing treat bag
  • Vampire couple 'dressed to kill'
  • Skeleton eating candy and scary suit of armor
  • Happy Jack the Scarecrow
  • and the $5 off coupon!!

You can use the coupon until November 1st. ( You may have already grabbed this if you clicked any of the Facebook and Twitter posts:)

smiley360.com—Be Heard. Be Happy.

Comfortable and Stylish for Mommies Like me!

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I was so happy to find out I was accepted for an opportunity with No nonsense, and even more happy to find my package in the mail when it arrived with a pair of No nonsense brown leggings and a pair of brown tights. Both fit in with my large variety of black tops, sweaters and skirts!

I am always much to busy to get dressed up on a daily basis, and being comfortable is also very important to me! The new No nonsense leggings and tights and variety of colors will be a definite addition in my fall and winter wardrobe this year!

I need something quick, easy and simple to throw together, I am much to busy to spend time trying to look decent enough just to run errands or run to doctor appointments and school functions. The easier and quicker, the better!

I also need a brand and clothes that fit my style and regualr daily, crazy, hectic life. Simply put, something I can throw on in 5 minutes or less, and look like I actually took my time!

Another reason I love No nonsense, is because of how easy it is to find their tights and leggings. They are sold at food and drug stores as well as mass retail outlets. Which brings me to the next coolest bonus of wearing No nonsense, the price. Who doesn't love a good deal? Especially one where you can spend much less, and look like you bought department store brands, but without the super high price.

No nonsense tights and leggings

Here are pictures of the outfits I created using my No nonsense tights and leggings and my own favorite ruffled skirt and black tops.

No nonsense recently paired up with Jill Martin, who is a fashion expert, and co- author of the New York Times bestselling guide, "I Have Nothing to Wear".  Jill is also the New York correspondent for Access Hollywood. Jill Martin is already a No nonsense fan, as well as a fan of looking good without spending a fortune! Definitely my kind of fashionista!

You can find Jill on Twitter and FacebookNo nonsense on Facebook, where she will be sharing tips, advice and hosting giveaways for No nonsense fans! This is a great opportunity for you to share ideas and maybe win some prizes and get helpful hints about your own wardrobe and busy mom lifestyle.

New Glade Expressions

I received a book of coupons from BzzAgent, and Glade of course;) I was so happy to have such a big book of high value coupons and a couple coupons for free Glade products!!
Unfortunately, everybody I have given these to, have yet to redeem them! Our local stores don't carry the new Glade oil diffuser or the new Glade Fragrance Mist. The couple that do, have been completely out of stock for several weeks. I even traveled 35 miles to a different location, and sure enough, they were also gone.
I am assuming this is due to the recent Sunday coupons that were also very super awesome coupons, and sadly enough, the stores couldn't keep these new products in stock.

Here are the scrumptious fragrances you can experience in your own home, (if you are so lucky to find these in stock!)

Cotton & Italian Mandarin - Open your home with the bright, breezy blend of cotton and sparkling citrus, honeydew and sandalwood*
Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice - A ripe, spicy blend of sweet pears and crisp apple with a dash of cinnamon and clove that warms and invigorates
Lavender & Juniper Berry - Lush lavender blends with fresh juniper berry, eucalyptus and rose to relax the senses and open your home
Pineapple & Mangosteen - Evoke a tropical paradise with the blend of freshly cut pineapples and hint of tangy mangosteen, creamy coconut and passionflower
*Available in Glade Expressions® Fragrance Mist only.

I tried the Pineapple and Mangosteen, this is all the store had left when I received the coupons, but this was fine, since this is exactly what I wanted.
I prefer the oil diffuser over the actual mist, because it is prettier, and easier to use. The oil diffuser is absolutely easy to maintain and there really is no mess! This was impressive to me, I am a big fragrance fan, especially oil warmers and oil diffusers, and with children at home, these things tend to spill, a LOT! But with the new Glade oil diffuser, this is a one of a kind type of diffuser.
Just like the plug ins, you simply open the pack, and snap the oil packet in until you hear a click, and you are set!
The diffuser itself is very pretty and fits with most any decor. I chose to put ours in the living room, and it fits perfectly!
The fragrance mist is also very nice, not my favorite, but it does have it's good qualities.
I am not a big fan of the white holder in the starter kit, but the scents are delicious and the price is just right! The scent is long lasting and it is a little harder for children to spray, another plus for houses with little ones!
I do prefer fragrance options where I do as least work as possible. I do love oil burners, so I do have to light a few tea lights each day, and I love candles, so I have to light those. But sprays just never  made it on my top 10 list.
Although I do keep spray in the bathrooms at home, and this specific spray, surprisingly, does not have a terrible chemical, alcohol type scent when you first spray, like others I have tried. I also think it does fit bathroom decor quite well.
If I had to choose, I would be grabbing just the oil diffuser starter kits!
I have a couple coupons leftover that I received from BzzAgent, and I am going coupon shopping tomorrow, I hope very much to see these in stock!! If not, I will be asking for a few rain checks, because these are so hard to grab! I even have some of the Sunday coupons, and since I am a big candle fan, especially Glade candle, I will be hoping and praying to get the, "Buy a Glade candle, get a FREE Oil Diffuser starter kit" (See, now you see why we have been out of stock in Central PA:)
Have you tried the new Glade products?
What did you think?
Which is your favorite fragrance?
Are you a member of BzzAgent?? This was my first opportunity from them, and I have to tell you, I am loving BzzAgent! If you are a regular reader of mine, then you know how much I love Mypoints, well, BzzAgent will give you points in your Mypoints account for completing surveys and tasks!! WOOHOOOO!!!

Rompus Words Game on Facebook

I am not usually the Facebook game person, matter of fact, I tend to sometimes get very annoyed with all of the farming and carnivals and invites and constant seeds and things I see on my page. I still have several friends on Facebook who play these, and that's fine, I just choose to use my Facebook for other things. (I am sure most of my friends would say they tend to get annoyed from what I post at times too;)
However, I am a video game freak, or I was until I have a few little ones around the house, 1 that isn't in school, so I sure don't play my Tony Hawk or Mortal Kombat games much anymore. (I have 3 years left to wait until I can start doing my sick, wicked, rad tricks again!)
I also love to buy those game books, the letter and number fill ins, and crossword puzzles! I feel like I get a little smarter each time I finish one of those books. Maybe because I am always playing Legos, or piggy back rides, or eating wooden kitchen food that they make for me. Yum!
When I saw the title for this game, Rompus Words, I was interested right from the start! I love words, and reading and crossword puzzles are fun to me so I asked to have the opportunity to review this, even with the fears of becoming addicted.
As you can see from the picture, it is quite the colorful game!
You start out with 5000 credits and you can earn more by inviting friends and by playing daily. The goal of the game is to score as many points as possible in a limited amount of turns.
The words are scored by letter value, and you can check to see how you are doing compared to your friends who are also playing. It is a pretty competitive game, and a lot of fun! It also helps to pass any time if you have any of that:) But it is good to have a break once in a while!
If you don't beat all of your friends this week, the points start back over the next week, and you have a new chance to win!
I do like this game quite a bit, and as for any issues with gameplay, slow play, no problems what so ever.
You can get this game on your Facebook here!
I would recommend this for moms, dads, grandparents, anybody really will have a good time with this game! Especially crossword puzzle fans.
One very fun thing about this game, is my 9 year old, Aaron, also likes to play. So, this is something we can hang out and do together when the other little ones are busy or having a nap. Playing games of any kind, especially ones you can learn from, are always a favorite way for me to spend time with the kiddos.  Aaron enjoys it a lot because it is just Aaron and mom:P That was another plus, I remember the little things I did with my mom when I was growing up. Just like Aaron, I had several siblings, so the time we did spend, was unforgettable, even if just for 30 minutes every day.

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Great Deals are NOT Always Great Deals

I learned a few lessons lately, since the end of summer, or mid summer I don't even know anymore. All I know is that, "You get what you pay for!!"
Please try and keep this in mind, when it comes to anything! Whether it's grocery shopping, cars, clothes, repairs, a house, and most of all, web design and transferring!!
I thought I could save some money and grab an unknown website designer, builder, and have him transfer me to Wordpress, and since it cost next to nothing, I thought I found a great deal. Well, he or she, I would have no idea since I only messaged them through a site where you can hire people to do all kinds of things for practically nothing. They seemed trustworthy enough and I was so anxious to get everything taken care of and where I wanted to be.I recently also went through a real professional, who will be transferring my other blog to Wordpress, and she is very reputable and trustworthy so I really have no stress over that move! (Just in case you read my other blog, there isn't much there right now because it is going to be completely redone and new tabs and content will be added to make it a much cooler blog:)
I have no idea where to start except for I have finally found all of the missing reviews, posts, links, articles, pictures, everything that has been lost is at least known now! The part that is driving me crazy is the reposting everything, there was at least half of everything, gone, and this person, at least I believe it was this person, also got into my email.
I am not real creative when it comes to passwords, lol, so yes, I have the same password for everything. That's why I am assuming that this person was in my email, deleting contacts, after I went crazy and flipped out about losing and deleting my blog!! I did find some contacts again, because I luckily had some in a different email and some from Linkedin.
But, besides all of that, I have had 2 weeks where I could not log in and was blocked from this blog, and a few days of this specific blog being "parked" by Godaddy. (That was a another mess and that is all taken care of now;)
So, to make a long story short, please remember that a great deal may not always be a great deal!! Also, if it seems to good to be true, it most likely is! AND never use the same passwords for everything! AND always remember to change your password after somebody comes in and destroys everything you have worked so hard for for almost 2 years!!
I apparently don't have a lot of common sense, because after all of that, and knowing this person had my password for all of my Blogger blogs, I didn't think to change it. After I thought I could get back to normal and start refilling everything in, my own password was changed on me and I had to somehow manage to persuade Godaddy and Google that I was me. and that process takes a bit, unfortunately. But, thank God! I am logged in and can stay without being kicked out, lol, and it is mine again! Yay!!
All of my passwords are different now, this is a new password, and when I save enough, this blog will be transferred just like my other, and by an actual professional:)

90 Day Weight Loss Challenge

I will be starting a 90 day weight loss challenge with, Creative Bioscience.
I am 38 years old now, with 4 children, and since we are done having little ones, I can finally try my best to get back into the, well, close to, the same weight I was before our first!
It will be an extra hard challenge for me, since I also have RSD in my legs. That has made it very rough for several years, because exercise, and even just walking, is not something I can do very often.
I will be using the Raspberry Ketone Weight Management product for my challenge.
Raspberry Ketones are the aroma element of raspberries. The Raspberry Ketones regulate what is known as adiponectin, which in simple terms helps with our metabolism or the way we process food in our bodies. The ketones help target your excess fat and make it easier on your body to burn those fat cells, thus losing weight quicker.
While I am not dangerously overweight, the Raspberry Ketones option is an excellent choice for those who are. Not only do they help you lose weight, but they are also good for your health. You could indeed choose to eat 90 or more lbs of raspberries, to get the same benefit as these supplements, but that would cost a fortune and I don't know about you, but I definitely won't be able to eat that many raspberries;)
My goals are to get close to where I was before, and drop at least 2 dress/jean sizes. I am a grandma now, and grandmas are supposed to be able to look half their age;P
It is actually very important to me, as I never really had an issue before, your self esteem still takes a hit once in a while when you aren't as thin as you wish you were. I am pretty content with myself, but I would feel much better about myself, and my age, if i could lose maybe at least 20 pounds.
If you want to join me in my challenge, and you are a blogger, check out the Creative Bioscience 90 Day Challenge!
For my readers, I will be posting throughout, and at the end there may be a special giveaway for you to try the same supplements I chose!

Packaways

The first thing I love about Packaways, is that they are made in the USA. That seems to be a rare find nowadays...
There are actually several reasons I am more then satisfied with Packaways storage boxes, and I really didn't expect these to amaze me as much as they did! They claimed to be so simple and easy to use, and "automatically" fold into place and lock, when you press on the opposing corners and bottom. Yeah ok!! Well, sure enough, they really do!! Very, very easy to go from flat to storage box, and back again. My 5 year old and 9 year old were even helping with these and were able to complete the process all by themselves! We had to argue a bit over who would use what, I won lol!! But, I am in dire need of more of these, so we will have to order several more.
They would help soooo much with all of the kids toys, crafts, papers, everything we have in other boxes, (those annoying ones with lids), and shoeboxes, and of course just laying around the house, Ugh!! It's hard to stick with my original game plan here, because I keep thinking ahead of myself and thinking of more things we can store in these, so I guess I can talk about the price next.
(Oh, before I forget!! These are made of corrugated plastic, which means they will protect whatever you store inside, from water and humidity.)
This is one of my favorite parts, because these are actually, surprisingly, priced way less then what I typically pay or see prices for, for most all other reputable storage boxes and containers. They also offer discounts for buying in bulk, and free shipping on orders over $49! Packaways offers 5 sizes, 3 different sizes in the classic size, 12 gallon, 16 gallon and 21 gallon. You can also choose to have natural or color. The prices range from $8.75 to $10.10. (The highest being for a color option for the 21 gallon). There is also the tote style, which is priced under $10 and the under bed style, which is very reasonably priced at under $20! The color options, as you can see from the picture above, are bright, vibrant colors that are much better then the regular old boring cardboard box or clear storage container. Another super addition to Packaways, is the dry erase board panels that are included!! This is so neat for labeling, and if you use China dry erase markers, you can wipe and re mark!! I would be content with having several of these to store all of the kids mixed up toys, and dolls, and all the little things that I go crazy each day trying to clear up! I also could use a few more for cleaning products, crafts, even our worksheets, coloring pages, and pictures and scrapbooks!
Right now, the 2 that I received are being used for my mom group things, samples, coupons, paperwork, things I have to lug with me each month. These are much more stylish, easy to handle and I just adore the bright colors! The following is taken from the Packaways website, so I can share the fabulous technology behind Packaways!
** PackAways™ were invented and are manufactured in the U.S.A. by Technology Container Corp. (TCC), a Massachusetts-based company with plants in Worcester, MA and Desoto, TX. All of our products are made exclusively in the U.S.A., employing American workers and suppliers.
We are the largest plastic box manufacturer in the world with more plastic box capacity than the rest of North America combined. PackAways was born out of the recognition that consumers need durable, versatile, easy-to-use, storage boxes that can fold down flat and store out of the way when not in use.
