New Glade Expressions

I received a book of coupons from BzzAgent, and Glade of course;) I was so happy to have such a big book of high value coupons and a couple coupons for free Glade products!!
Unfortunately, everybody I have given these to, have yet to redeem them! Our local stores don't carry the new Glade oil diffuser or the new Glade Fragrance Mist. The couple that do, have been completely out of stock for several weeks. I even traveled 35 miles to a different location, and sure enough, they were also gone.
I am assuming this is due to the recent Sunday coupons that were also very super awesome coupons, and sadly enough, the stores couldn't keep these new products in stock.

Here are the scrumptious fragrances you can experience in your own home, (if you are so lucky to find these in stock!)

Cotton & Italian Mandarin - Open your home with the bright, breezy blend of cotton and sparkling citrus, honeydew and sandalwood*
Fuji Apple & Cardamom Spice - A ripe, spicy blend of sweet pears and crisp apple with a dash of cinnamon and clove that warms and invigorates
Lavender & Juniper Berry - Lush lavender blends with fresh juniper berry, eucalyptus and rose to relax the senses and open your home
Pineapple & Mangosteen - Evoke a tropical paradise with the blend of freshly cut pineapples and hint of tangy mangosteen, creamy coconut and passionflower
*Available in Glade Expressions® Fragrance Mist only.

I tried the Pineapple and Mangosteen, this is all the store had left when I received the coupons, but this was fine, since this is exactly what I wanted.
I prefer the oil diffuser over the actual mist, because it is prettier, and easier to use. The oil diffuser is absolutely easy to maintain and there really is no mess! This was impressive to me, I am a big fragrance fan, especially oil warmers and oil diffusers, and with children at home, these things tend to spill, a LOT! But with the new Glade oil diffuser, this is a one of a kind type of diffuser.
Just like the plug ins, you simply open the pack, and snap the oil packet in until you hear a click, and you are set!
The diffuser itself is very pretty and fits with most any decor. I chose to put ours in the living room, and it fits perfectly!
The fragrance mist is also very nice, not my favorite, but it does have it's good qualities.
I am not a big fan of the white holder in the starter kit, but the scents are delicious and the price is just right! The scent is long lasting and it is a little harder for children to spray, another plus for houses with little ones!
I do prefer fragrance options where I do as least work as possible. I do love oil burners, so I do have to light a few tea lights each day, and I love candles, so I have to light those. But sprays just never  made it on my top 10 list.
Although I do keep spray in the bathrooms at home, and this specific spray, surprisingly, does not have a terrible chemical, alcohol type scent when you first spray, like others I have tried. I also think it does fit bathroom decor quite well.
If I had to choose, I would be grabbing just the oil diffuser starter kits!
I have a couple coupons leftover that I received from BzzAgent, and I am going coupon shopping tomorrow, I hope very much to see these in stock!! If not, I will be asking for a few rain checks, because these are so hard to grab! I even have some of the Sunday coupons, and since I am a big candle fan, especially Glade candle, I will be hoping and praying to get the, "Buy a Glade candle, get a FREE Oil Diffuser starter kit" (See, now you see why we have been out of stock in Central PA:)
Have you tried the new Glade products?
What did you think?
Which is your favorite fragrance?
Are you a member of BzzAgent?? This was my first opportunity from them, and I have to tell you, I am loving BzzAgent! If you are a regular reader of mine, then you know how much I love Mypoints, well, BzzAgent will give you points in your Mypoints account for completing surveys and tasks!! WOOHOOOO!!!
Check out BzzAgent here!!

Very Helpful Coupon and Deal Site!!

I always check out all the coupon and deal sites, especially before I go and buy anything. Whether it's granola bars, or school clothes, I always figure that somewhere, I can get it cheaper:)
If you are looking for PsPrint coupon codes, this site has tons of them!
This is organized very well, and has an amazing directory of tons and tons of shops and stores! You just click through the directory, by letter, (alphabetical order), and find your store, and click for all the codes! They have them updated often, and have info on products, prices, pictures, anything you need to know about each store! It definitely saves you time, because they already did all the work for you!
Free shipping.com is actually a very cool program, from what I read on this site! I never really knew much about this money saving idea, until I read about them. You can also check them out on Clarus Marketing.
They also have cash back offers, and soon will have the option to print coupons. You can check out their blog, and read posts that range from free shipping, to reviews, to advice on shopping, groceries and more.
I am more satisfied with this site, then some of the others that seemed to have popped up over the past couple years. I like to have legitimate reviews, coupon codes, links, and actual proof that the coupons worked! (By the way, you can vote on the codes that work the best and you can add coupon and discount codes to the site as well!)
What coupons mean..
All in all, this site is sure to save busy moms and dads, lots of time and hassle! Just bookmark the site, and make sure you visit every time you are planning on shopping!
Have you ever used any codes from this site? Are you an email subscriber? Please comment and let me know what you think, especially of this site compared to others of the same type.

Review; The Money Saving Mom's Budget by Crystal Paine

As I have mentioned before, (several times in fact), I am here and blogging, thanks to bloggers such as Crystal Paine.
I have always been a frugal person, a couponaholic, and a deal hunter, but a few years ago when a medical catastrophe hit me, I was forced to figure out more ways to save and earn money.
I was never a huge fan of computers, and the internet. I am still pretty old fashioned, I like books, board games, and I like for my children to know what an encyclopedia and a dictionary and actual books are like! But, we purchased a computer and I decided to put it to work!
One of the first newsletters I had signed up with, was The Money Saving Mom Newsletter, and I was happy to get some tips and links and help with the online shopping and bargain hunting world.
Crystal does an excellent job with her blogs, and she is one of the reasons I started my own. I always enjoy reading her posts and articles about blogging, and her "how to's" and her positive outlook is enough to make a busy mom like me, (who by the way, had no clue how any of this blogging, hyperlinks, downloading, installing, lol, you get the picture, worked!)
I was so happy to hear about her book deal, and was anxious to read her book when it came out.
Her book is actually being released in January of 2012.
I received her book about a month ago, and was very excited to be asked to do a review on her book!!
This was honestly something I didn't expect, as I am still fairly new and only run 2 blogs for now with a little over 100 followers between the 2! But, we all have to start somewhere.
I read the book in just a few days, and I was pleased with the way it was written. She keeps your attention on each page, and has her own way of writing, which is very pleasant, positive, friendly, and gives you something to smile about.
This is an excellent starter book for anybody who has recently lost a job, has been going through rough times, or just wants to learn how and what they can do to become more self sufficient and save where ever they can for their families!
Crystal covers mostly everything in this book, and I was happy to see that there really wasn't anything left out. All of the tips and advice were well written, and I appreciate her writing this book to help others out.
I am also relieved that Crystal covers couponing, the truthful way! This is something I have been doing for so many years, and to have certain tv shows, and bloggers and Facebook pages, come out with some ridiculous, far fetched, crazy, unbelievable, coupon strategies, and stockpiling maniacs, made to depict all couponers, and frugal moms, as some loopy, hoarding, monsters, I was very much appreciative when I read her book!
From the grocery store to the drug store, to online, I am a little tired of being treated as a loon, and an "Extreme Couponer"! I get called this everytime I am shopping with my coupon binder! Not to mention the people who are anxiously awaiting to learn how to do "Extreme Couponing", and they don't realize yet what exactly reality is...
But Crystal, thank goodness, gives a very real depiction of couponing, what it's about, how to do it, and even covers the ever so hard question to answer for people, "How do I save without coupons?"
From tips and pointers about savings, and NOT using the ever loved, American way, lol, credit card, and swiping everywhere you go, to personal empowerment, cash only challenges, to how to give and donate, no matter your income, her book covers it all!
I guarantee it is well worth your while, even if you are an avid saver, and couponer, It is an enjoyable read, and I love knowing that it was written by somebody who has been through rough times just like my family.
Who better to get your shopping tips and saving and budget advice from, then another busy mommy who wants to instill good values in her children, and is always looking for ways to save as much as possible in every aspect?

PS) I may be having a giveaway for a copy of The Money Saving Mom's Budget, very soon!
Keep reading this blog and my other blog, http://www.momscrazyday.com/, for info on when this giveaway will start!!

Upcoming Reviews Part 3

About 6 years ago, my family finally broke down and purchased our very first computer. I know, lol, many people do not believe this, but it is true. I was very much against what I believed a computer would take from families, people, books, encyclopedias, dictionaries, school, showing work on paper, pen pals, letters,  living as we knew it, and children's imaginations, among other things. I still am a firm believer in all of this, except now I do understand that there are many benefits to owning and using a computer, as long as you don't abuse it!
Well, for starters, I was pretty excited about printing coupons from home, and using them at the store! I was also very impressed with the store websites and being able to view the flyers and sales and wow! Shopping online!!
I was raised to live very frugal, and my mom was the kind of mom that when we said, "Mom!! Can we get a box of Lucky Charms at the store?". she would reply with, "Only if you find a coupon for it!". and proceed to dump a box, a very big box, of coupons onto a pile on the floor! So, I always swore I will never ever ever do this to my kids! Well, it turns out, I did, lol. Much more as a matter of fact, and my oldest daughter, Bethany, really hates coupons, but since she has been gone from home, she has used them.
A few years ago, I finally broke down and accepted the fact that I will have to get reconstructive foot and ankle surgery done, on my left side first, then the right was to be second. Well, the first surgery was such a failure, and I now live with RSD, among other issues with my left leg, that the second was never touched. So, the computer then for me, turned out being my best friend, co worker, employer and employee.
I have spent almost 6 full years, finding the best opportunities, survey sites, all the deal sites, coupons, you name it, I probably have been there, and have accounts, or affiliates! I rarely have time for all of them, which is a shame, because there really is a lot you can do online to benefit your lifestyle, family, home, and shopping styles.
I also relied very much on other bloggers, (I only started blogging in May of 2011), email newsletters, and communities for parents, couponers, and the like.
One of my favorite bloggers, and my favorite email newsletter, comes from Crystal Paine, from http://www.moneysavingmom.com/.
I always appreciated her good heart, great sense of humor, and have grown to emulate her attitude towards blogging. I am very thankful for her emails, and positive posts she always has about blogging, starting an online business, etc.
I have taught myself so much about computers, blogging, websites, networking, and I have been able to share my experience and expertise with several others, and I plan to share much more and to continue growing in numbers! I do have to thank Crystal, for being behind the final push.
Onto my next review, which I am very delighted to be able to have been given this opportunity!
Crystal Paine's new book, that will be released in January of 2012!
The Money Saving Mom's Budget, I am sure will prove to be an excellent source of information for newbies, and even the pros out there.
I have received a rough copy this past week, and I am almost done reading it. I am hoping to have this full review up by the end of next week.
There may also be a giveaway with this review too! You will definitely want to stick around and subscribe to my RSS! lol! There should be plenty of info, giveaways, and reviews in the next month, just in time for Christmas!

My Memories Suite Scrapbook Software Review and Giveaway! Part 2

The kids and I are very proud of our gardens this year! We planted a lot of things, flowers, fruits, veggies, and herbs.
We just grabbed a bunch of mismatched seeds and planted them, and waited to see what was coming. Most of our garden was a surprise, lol, we had no clue what to expect. With the exception of the cherry tomatoes, spring onions, pumpkins (that never came, but still took over most of the fruit and veggie garden!), cucumbers, and all kinds of peppers, we were having a fun time checking our garden each morning to see what was coming next!
We did plant lots of onions, and we did not see any, as the cucumbers, watermelon, and the fabulous pumpkins, took over and stole the sun away from the entire middle of our garden. This was a shame, because I cook a lot, and I use lots of onions! But we learned some things about these plants, and we also have to make our garden bigger for next year.
These flowers, especially the orange ones, are also surprises. If anybody knows what any of these gorgeous flowers are, please comment! I really need to know what to purchase for next year, and I would love to read up on them so I know exactly how to take care of them!
Sunflowers are my very favorites, I am saving pictures of those for their own, special, My Memories creation. We had a lot of luck with those this year, thank goodness! Every time I see a sunflower, it brightens my day! Ever since I was a little girl.
I really am having a super fun time with this software. i am actually amazed with how quick I can create pages, and I will be attempting business cards next. I was also thinking about making a logo, or a button for a blog I have, and installing that as well. I know for sure, the kids and I will be making plenty of Christmas cards with this software in the coming months!

Edy's Fun Flavors Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough Ice Cream

Deegan loves this flavor the best. He also likes to wear it, lol, and lick it off his arms. No, I don't let this happen very often, and ice cream is only a once in a week treat for us. Usually on the weekends. But the brand and flavor we buy the most, is Edy's Fun Flavors Nestle Toll House Cookie Dough Ice Cream!
We have tried many, many, many brands, and this has won all of the kids, and my husband's, votes by a landslide!
Aaron is giving his review of Edy's ice cream. he likes to add Hershey's Syrup and lots of extra sprinkles. his favorite is the creamy vanilla part, he says, and he loves the chunks of cookie dough that surprise him in his bites! Lol! He is a hard one to please, very picky and this is the ice cream he prefers over all the rest!
Genevive also is a big fan of this brand and flavor. She likes to add heart sprinkles and chocolate sprinkles, and nonperils! She is a sugar fanatic, (another reason this is a once in a week treat), but she loves to share a bowl of this ice cream with her favorite person, her daddy!
He introduced the kids to this flavor, and this is what I buy at Boyers Food Markets, every weekend.
Which brings me to my review. I am not a fan of ice cream. i do like the cookie dough pieces, and i do like the price of Edy's ice cream. Plus, there are always coupons for this product and Boyers will often have a sale, either 2 for $6 or buy one get one free! I do eat this once in a while, and I do have to say, i get hungry for this particular brand and flavor at times. This has never happened to me before, lol, because I simply am not an ice cream fan. Call me wierd, and I am ok with that! I'm also not a french fry fan, lol, that may make you think I am even more wierd. My kids think I am very strange because of this.
The only other ice cream I have ever loved, was Turkey Hill Chocolate Peanut Butter, but even then, I would usually just eat the hard peanut butter stuff out, and leave the ice cream. But with Edy's, I actually do like the creamy vanilla part, as Aaron says. The Nestle part is my very favorite part, and I also love the Nestle cookie dough that you can buy that is already cut into little squares.
I know you aren't supposed to, but I can't keep from eating cookie dough sometimes. It is sometimes better then the finished product. I may just go downstairs and thaw out a pack of Nestle Chocolate Chip Cookie Dough................

Kashi Soft Baked Cereal bars

This is Deegan, my 1 year old, lol, just getting "trouble" for hiding in my room and getting chocolate all over my sheets from his Kashi bar, that yes, he knows how to open somehow on his own! He is crazy for Kashi products to, lol, especially these bars.
I am so addicted to almost all the food Kashi makes! I absolutely go crazy when I run out of certain products, Salsa flavored Pita Crisps, Sea Salt pita Crisps, Peanutty Dark Chocolate layered Granola Bars, and Cinnamon Harvest cereal, oh! and the blueberry and strawberry cereals! Ok! Maybe ALL Kashi cereal! lol!
I am a "Mom Ambassador" for http://www.greenmomsmeet.com/, and I was super lucky to be chosen for a Kashi sampling! I love this site and I recommend this to anybody, blogger, moms, leaders of moms groups, they really have awesome offers, and are very up to date with all things green and organic!
I received my Kashi kit, and a box of these Soft Baked Strawberry bars was right on top. Well, I love Kashi, and I love strawberries, so I ripped it open and ate one and now I'm getting my shopping list ready for our weekend camping trip, and these bars MUST come along! I have to find a store that has a few boxes on the shelf, I'm thinking Walmart, so I will be running there Thursday afternoon.
Kashi is all organic, all natural, and most of their products only has 4 or 5 ingredients! That alone is amazing! No preservatives, no fake stuff, just pure, healthy, very tasty, ingredients.
These bars are so good they really should be illegal! The perfect size portion, the right amount of strawberries, and the soft baked crust is truly divine! The combination of the filling and the crust, is just brilliant! I honestly have got to say, that I have never ever in my life, eaten any bars, cereal bars, granola bars, snack bars, that can even dream of coming close to these Soft Baked Cereal Bars. (Well, maybe Kashi's Peanutty Dark Chocolate Layered Granola bars)
I am a big time couponer, and price and availability of coupons are very important to me. I have to say, I have found some stores that carry Kashi items for a good price, some a bit more. So I don't hold this against Kashi, and I also understand that there are times when "You get what you pay for", is an honest rule to go by when purchasing anything. Even food. I have been purchasing Kashi products at Walmart, Boyer's, Giants, and Weis, and I also took advantage of a sale that CVS had when they offered Kashi products, buy 1 get 1 free, a few weeks ago.
Kashi also will send coupons once in a while, if you go to their site, http://www.kashi.com/, and sign up for their community! You can also call 877-7GRAINS. If you know someone who would
love these products, and doesn't have the Internet, (yes, they are still out there), you can give them this number to call and request some coupons! I also have been seeing a lot of Kashi printables online, and when the next round come about, i will link them here for you!
Kashi is also a company that I know cares about what I eat, and most importantly, what my kids eat, and I have a few kids here who adore a lot of Kashi products! (even the cereals and bars). I consider them kid friendly, and that is sometimes all it takes to hold a special place in my heart!

Affiliates, Youtube, Giveaways, and all I need to learn!

I am now starting my next venture in the blogging world. It is time consuming for somebody like me, since I am still only about 6 months into this, and I have never had to learn these things before.
This is not nearly as crazy as my episodes with Google the last couple weeks! Thank goodness that is all resolved!
I am getting emails with "approved accounts", and I am stuck the second I log in! So, this weekend it is my goal to figure these out, set them up accordingly, and start on my next project. (email newsletters)
I already have email newsletters now, but through my Blogfrog account, I noticed that I am actually able to send these newsletters out for free! Not to mention, it is much less time consuming since I do not have to click through all of my contacts.
I also noticed there are a few companies that are offering free trials for their email newsletter programs. I will be shopping around for a few weeks first, so if anybody has any suggestions, please comment and let me know!
I hope that by next spring, I have a decent network built, and have learned the basics, and a little more, and I will be working on my 3rd blog at that time! This is a major goal for me, and I am nothing but determined to have this all figured out and squared away.
Don't forget to "like" my page on Facebook, and find me on Twitter!
I do have giveaways going all the time, and offer daily updates on freebies and deals.
Thank you in advance for any advice on blogging, learning this stuff, and finding a reputable email newsletter host!
Next month, or hopefully this month, I will be working on a Youtube channel, where we will do product reviews!
By the end of this year, i hope to have my whole "Couponing 101" course, complete, and possibly offer a very cheap ebook as well. Other then affiliates, ebooks, Youtube, video reviews, my main task will always be NETWORKING!!!
Which, by the way, I am looking for sponsors for my "1500 Facebook Fan Giveaway".
I am close to 1000 right now, and would like to partner up with some companies, SAHM businesses, any small business, who like to donate an item for this event, and your business, blog, pages, products, will aslo be posted all over my networks!

John Freida free samples

I apologize for not having the knowledge yet, of how to get links put on my posts for you to easily click onto.
I will be figuring this out as soon as I can;p If anybody has any hints, I would love to hear them!
Anyway, if you sign up for John Freida newsletters, they are offering free samples and coupons for you!
I am already receiving the newsletters, and I am quite happy with the amount of samples and coupons I receive in my email inbox, and mailbox;p
I am a sometime user of John Freida products, it does help very much when there is a coupon, because I do believe the prices are higher then what I normally spend on such things.
CVS and Rite Aid do tend to have very good sales on these products though at times.
I also think they are very excellent products! I have yet to use something of theirs that I do not like!

I am a Clairolista;p

I am so excited for this oppurtunity that i received through www.expotv.com, A real amazing site, and one that I wish I had more time to work with.
I do plan on making more time, once my house, website, and facebook pages are under control;p
If you have not signed up through this site, you really should!
They offer points for video reviews that you post, and the points are redeemable for gift cards!!
I was not picked the first time around, then I received an email with the offer. Apparently, there were a couple who didn't respond. So, here I am!
I did receive a very nice package from expo and clairol, with coupons, business cards, haircolor, a pen, and my contract. I have been studying the packaging, the website, the facebook page, as well as watching the videos they are offering all of the clairolistas, for training purposes.
I will soon have my own Clairolista page officially launched, and will be able to help provide insight, suggestions, and a personal color consultation!
So, if any of you are interested, please comment!
I have a link that will take you to the P&G store, where you can make your purchase, and I do get a small kickback from this. So i would very much appreciate if you would be so kind and enter my number with your order.
I would love to start with this and I would love to help anybody choose the best home haircolor products!

Kashi 7 Grain Pita Crisps

I received a box of these Pita Crisps from Kashi last week, along with a few real good coupons!
If you are not a member of the Kashi site, I suggest you sign up! They offer samples, coupons, news of new products, and much more!
I am now in love with these Pita Crisps, as I am a lot of Kashi products.
They have the perfect amount of salt, the best crunch, and they are excellent for dips of all kinds, and just as wonderful by themselves.
My 3 youngest ones, also were pretty thrilled with the crunch, (they are not allowed to have chips very often, so they are very fond of crunchy crackers, lol)
I will be buying these as soon as i find a local store who will be carrying them.
They have plain, and salsa flavored Pita Crisps. I did sample the plain, and I can not wait to sample the salsa flavor!
I also like Kashi because the prices are good, the packages are generous, the taste is unbelievable, very flavorful, and it is good for me and my kids, and they do not take away from anything to make them good for us!
Plus, they do hand out a lot of coupons, and I normally won't buy anything, unless I have a coupon;p

Amazon offers a 12 pack of 7.9 oz boxes of these very tasty Kashi Pita Crisps for $16.05 and free shipping, if you do the Subscribe and Save;p
you do not have to keep the subscription active for these prices if you do not want to receive these crackers every 3 months, r however you set it up. However, I am a huge fan of Amazons Subscribe and Save Offers! They are very cheap and the free shipping and extra discounts are amazing!
You can use the Amazon search box at the top right of my blog, to search for these crackers, or anything else you may want to purchase!
