Last Message Android App Review
I have my neat o Pantech Android phone through Verizon, and plenty of times I have complaints about the annoying thing. lol! There are days it seems all I do is have problems with it, even though there are so many features I really do love! I just miss my old phone, apparently if it isn't a Smartphone, it is an artifact these days. So, of course I was forced into this Android in order to stay current on my family plan.
One of my biggest gripes is of course my battery life, ugh! It seems like it dies 10 times faster then any other phone I ever used. I especially go crazy if I am talking on the phone, or texting or emailing a long message and without warning, it says, "shutting down" ! AAHH I don't know how many times this has happened while I am on Facebook, and I'm messaging somebody, and just like that, my phone dies.
Some phones might have that warning up top, but when my phone is online, emails or Facebook, or even Twitter, that top part disappears and I have no idea what my percentage is at.
I found this new app, Last Message, which is available for Androids 2.2 and higher. You can fnd this at the Google Play Store.
Last Message, lets you connect to your Twitter, gmail, or Facebook, or this is my favorite part... you can set this for your contacts in your phone! If you were texting somebody, and your phone just shuts down, (like mine, several times a day), you can set your own message to send directly to that person to let them know what happened! I love it! It also actually works, and is very quick and painless to set up.
You just install the app, and then set your gmail, sign into your Facebook, and your Twitter, and set your own personalized message to contact your friends so they don't think you just fell pff the planet;)
It has been a long time since I found an app that is something I am going to be using pretty often. Most of the time I have several apps to clear out of my phone since they don't usually do anything I will ever need. Last Message is one I will use and will need. It will be surviving my monthly app cleaning sweeps too.

Pogo Pig App for Toddlers
I am so happy somebody made a saving money app for toddlers!
It is awesome to be able to have such a cute app to help with one of life's most valuable lessons! It is also very important to start teaching this at a very early age.
Deegan is 2 and always loves messing with the computer or our cell phones lol! He especially loves watching videos and playing games. So this was a very fun review for him to do. Oh, and I should mention, he also loves little animals, and little piggies!
This app was created for children ages, 2-4, and is fun, interactive game that will teach your child or children, the concept of saving money and trust me, it is worth so much more then the 99 cents you pay for this app!
Of course most of us know how important budgeting and saving money is, and we usually have our own ways to teach our children at home how important this is for their futures as well. Pogo Pig comes in very handy when trying to deal with the younger ones, especially when they are sometimes to little to understand the concept. So, this is a very good tool for parents.
We have been trying to teach our children how to save and budget, and have some left for charity.
We started "Behavior Bucks" here at our house, with hopes of teaching the kids how to earn "money", be respectful, behave, (lol), share, help others, and to save their "money".
They can earn "behavior bucks" for many things, such as, finishing their chores, being nice to one another, helping mom or dad, getting along, sharing, being caught doing a good deed, going out of their way for another family member, etc.
They also have "fines" or taxes, ( we are also trying to implement what it will be like when they grow up and earn money and have actual deductions. These are sometimes simply "fines" for not listening, or fighting with each other. (We were hoping to teach the value of a dollar along with how important family is, and how to grow up to be decent, respectable children, teens and adults.
The cool thing about their, "Behavior Bucks", is that they can spend them at their little store. (This store is open on the weekends, when I have a chance to bring the crates down with the products)
It is cute to see how they sometimes want to buy a pencil, an eraser, a small toy or something for each other.
The other neat lesson they have already learned from this, is how to save money. There are some more expensive items, and some weeks, they decide to wait to make a purchase because they would like to earn more "Behavior Bucks", so they can afford what they want.
While this may not be as effective for Deegan, Pogo Pig is. He still earns his "Behavior Bucks" and shops, but he has been having a very fun time with this interactive game!
You can buy Pogo Pig at the iTunes store!!

When Did I App Review
I am so thankful for Smartphones and all of these apps that are available, especially the ones that are created for busy moms and busy people in general.
When I Did, is a very cool app that allows you to keep track of everything you need, at any time! It is very easy to use, even for people like me who don't know their way around a Smartphone. (yes, I have had mine since August, and I am still stuck on almost everything)
I do have several tablets, planners, to do lists, all of my lists kind of take over everything sometimes, and if a kid isn't writing over top everything, or destroying it, I spill coffee on 1 or 2 or I end up re writing it and throwing away a piece of paper that had something important on. So, yes, I want nothing more then to be more organized!!
I have some neat planners I have found, and I have to much to write in the little squares, that I have 4 different planners, 1 for work schedules, 1 for computer schedules, 1 for to do lists and 1 for doctor appointments, birthday parties, and all the fun school stuff. For me, it is very annoying to have so many and if I could have 1 less, I am super happy.
That's where this app comes in! I have been using it for our schedules as a family, and keeping track of parties, appointments, school dances, (and believe me, we have a big family, some of us have medical conditions, so there are times we have more then 1 appointment in 1 week!)
I would recommend this app for anybody who has something they need to keep track of. This isn't just for busy moms, and busy families. When I Did, can help keep track of your dieting, what you had for lunch, snacks, dinner, how much time you spent jogging, at the gym, during workouts, it's pretty much endless. Another cool thing I have to point out with this app, is that you are in control of categories, and how many, and titles! This is my favorite part!! I don't know how many times I used a planner, whether digital or paper, and even an app, (this is the 3rd I have tried, and now my last:), where they already pre created your list of what is important to you. I always either have to rename them and remember, or scribble it out if it's on paper, and I hate sloppiness. I am constantly re writing to do lists and things when I make a mistake.
You can grab this app at The Google Play Store. I would love to hear your ideas! What do you keep track of? Have you used this app? How does it compare with other ways of keeping your busy schedules, not so busy and hectic?

What Should I Wear?
If you ever ask yourself this question, "What should I wear?", then you may want to check out this app!
Fashion Closet Accessorizer, is a very simple and easy to use app that really only cost $1.99, which is very reasonable, especially when you think about all of the time it saves you.
So far, I have no issues with this app, no bugs to report, it has been running very smooth and hasn't had any kinks yet!
The coolest thing about this app is that you can take pictures while you're out shopping, and it will help you choose what looks best with what! It isn't something that will be forgotten either, since it is in your cell phone, so you are sure to have your new bff with you, anytime you are shopping for clothes, shoes, purses, or accessories!
Its the perfect Closet Organizer, Style Manager, Fashion Assistant & Shopping Companion.
You can create the perfect outfit, using 6 different items, clothes, handbags, shoes, jewelry, all at once.
You can mix and match your outfits, for work, home, lazy shopping days, nights out, whatever you want, and this app lets you share your new outfits on Facebook, so your friends can comment and let you know how good the choices are.
I do love anything that makes my life easier, and while I have only taken this out on a "test drive" at the store while pretend shopping for clothes, it worked very well, and I will be using this again! I really like how you can instantly take pictures of everything you have at home and all the clothing and shoes and whatever else you are shopping for, and create your outfits right from your phone!
You can buy this app here!
You can also check out the developer's website here!

PandaBoy : Challenge Accepted
Here is another very cool app, this one is especially fun for kids. I would say of almost any age, but maybe 5 on up. (Genevive is 5 and loves it, and Aaron is 9 and loves it!) of course it might just be that Genevive is goofing around with it, but it keeps her happy and occupied and she loves the stylish graphics!
Aaron, plays a little more, especially since he is the video game king here at home, lol! His time is limited but he really loves to spend as much time as possible when doing a review such as this one, hmmmmm.
The graphics are very neat, kind of old school, but that is the way a lot of gamers like it! The colors and characters are cute, and vivid and the game plays very well. I wasn't sure how this would all work, with such a fast moving game. (I am not very coordinated !!) But I did pretty well! I am used to first person shooters, and of course the ever so famous skateboarding and BMX games, but I don't get much of a chance anymore to play, you know, being a mom and all;) But, this was quite a trip! I like it and will continue to play it and hope it becomes offered on other devices.
The little ones, on the other hand, well, this was just their speed, and Aaron, of course, did a bit better of a job then me! (Although I am still beating him in the Tony Hawk series, when I get a chance to play!!)
This game is inspired by the Olympics, which is cute, and the character is adorable! ( a little boy in a panda costume:) The retro style of this game will certainly grab the attention of us older gamers, and the moves and kabooms are quite unique! I think it is also just the right type of challenge, not to super hard, and not so easy.
You can visit Pandaboy on Twitter!
You can also check him out on Facebook!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.

Dr Oz Fan App for Android
This is a very awesome app, especially if you are a Dr Oz fan! I actually have never watched the show myself, but I do read up on his current shows, tips and advice, (unless I already heard a show recap from his biggest fan, my mom!!)
But for the busy mom, (like me, and I know many of my readers!), this is a super cool app to have installed in your Android!
This is probably going to be the reason some people, like my mom, end up buying an Android. My mom doesn't have the internet at home, and is always so fascinated by her cell phone and how she can access the internet and read up on all of her favorite shows, movie stars, and she loves to Google search all kinds of stuff, mainly politics, and she loves to tell me what Dr oz had to say, and how Dr Oz is so smart, and how great he is, she would go crazy for this!
What this app does, is keeps recaps from all of the current shows, all of the interesting stuff you probably wish you had a paper and pen handy for, and all of his suggestions, and puts it all in one location, for you to access whenever you please! How sweet is that?? The most important stuff from each episode, is collected here and shared with you! The next cool deal about this FREE Dr Oz app, is the recipe tab! Click on that, and you will find the best of Dr Oz's recipe suggestions.
All of the super important links are here for you, his Youtube videos, (for the ladies who have this nutty crush on this doctor), and nutrition advice, supplement advice, and exercise tips.
There is even a link for you to apply for tickets to the show, or to apply to be a guest on his show! All the most valuable stuff from your favorite doctor, ok, I have to admit, i am not some crazed fan of his, but I am loving his tips and recaps I have been reading with this app!) he seems to be a very down to earth, easy to believe and understand, type of doctor. So, I do get the whole, "Oh my God!! I have to go, cause Dr Oz is on!", and "Oh my God! Did you hear what Dr Oz said about treadmills??" (or whatever he spoke of that day! Jeez! He sounds like a glorious superstar:) But really, I enjoy hearing his tips, and now I can read them whenever I have time, and maybe I can apply to get tickets for my mom to visit his show!!
All in all, this runs very smoothly. I have yet to have any issues and I have had it installed for almost a month. It is updated regularly, and I have to say, this is somebody I would trust receiving medical advice from. So, any type of book, or app that I can grab, that has anything to do with the infamous, Dr Oz, I will be sure to take;)
Have you installed this app for your Android? What do you think?
Do you heart this Dr Oz?? Or is it just all of our moms??
Just kidding, I hear about this guy from several people, not just my mom, lol!
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
